Artist Statement or Description: “From the opera ‘Der Rosenkavalier’ by Richard Strauss. If there is a horse in this opera (and there very well could be) this would be one of six drawing the silver coach in the beginning of Act 2. The color scheme was partially inspired by a costume from the 1740’s in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.” |
