The customer
wanted a photo to frame as a remembrance of a beloved dog who had passed.
This is a composite of the photo of Bisby and lilacs photographed by
the client.
The cracks were
repaired and the writing in the lower left corner was removed.
This couple had only black and
white photographs of their wedding. The color and the background vignette,
although recently added, are in keeping with the look of the era in which
the photograph was taken.
The man seated with the
glasses had a better smile in the top photo. His head was replaced in the
bottom photo - where the other three men had better expressions. The photo
was also cropped, and the glare removed from the paneling.
The holes in
the photograph were repaired, the stains removed, and the background
cleaned.
This photo on a wood plaque
from WWII, aside from being damaged was also severely yellowed from the shellac
used to preserve it. After extensive cleaning, the colors became much
brighter. The ribbon required a great deal of work to keep with the exact
colors in the right order - and to straighten it out!
This family was
disappointed that they didn't have a photograph with all of them in it to
mark a special occasion. The woman was taken from another photograph, and
inserted with the rest of the family.
